Whats with all the blue/green lawns?

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Years! We are back in gear and have started our Spring pre-emergent applications.

You will likely notice around town that the yards we have treated have a blue/green look to them. That is because this year we are adding a tracker dye to our pre-emergent mix.

I have said this numerous times before…one of the most important components to an effective pre-emergent application is getting a very thorough, even application across your lawn. With a clear, liquid application, it is difficult to know where you have treated, not treated, areas you may have accidentally missed, areas where the application is too light, etc.

Fortunately there are products on the market called tracker dyes that are made specifically for lawn care applications (…they have been on the market for a long time…and yes we have waited way too long to use them 🤷🏻‍♂️). You simply add it to your mix and you’ll be able to clearly see how good your coverage is.

Better coverage means better results!
