Are your products kid and pet safe?
Yes, our products are safe for kids and pets. As a general rule, we recommend staying off treated areas for 2 hours and letting them dry. Always check your door hanger for specific notes left by your technician, since guidance can vary by treatment.
How do I know a technician came?
You'll see a yard sign and a door hanger left behind, plus a text once the service is complete. Our techs also take a photo of every lawn they treat, so there's always a record of the visit.
What if it rains after treatment?
It's rare for a treatment to wash away in the rain. Fertilizer settles in under the grass blades and typically isn't affected by rain, and we add a surfactant to our weed treatments to help prevent runoff. Our products actually need to be watered in within the first 5 days anyway, so rain helps them soak into the soil. If you're still seeing weeds after 2 weeks, give us a call and we'll come take a look.

Current Customers

For Current Customers

Answers to common questions from customers we're already treating.
I see a Vista truck in my neighborhood but I'm not getting serviced today, why?
Your treatment window could be different than the house getting serviced. Timing matters a lot with our applications, since treating your lawn too early or too late could throw off your lawn's health.
Do my applications have to be watered in?
Yes, within 5 days. In late spring and summer, water 3 to 4 times a week, either 35 to 40 minutes per zone for rotary heads or 15 to 20 minutes per zone for regular spray heads, ideally in the early morning. Rain can count as one of those waterings. Aim for 1.5 to 2 inches of water total per week.
If I have more than one package, will these be scheduled together?
Yes. We'll schedule your Fertilization and Weed Control, Advanced Soil Health, Turf Guard, or any other lawn packages you have all on the same day.
How do I get in touch with my technician if I have a question about my lawn?
Just reply to the message they send you upon service completion! Or text 469-333-8873!

Service FAQs

Advanced Soil Health Package

Everything you need to know about each of our services and how they work.
What is the Advanced Soil Health Package?
An annual program that works alongside your Fertilization and Weed Control plan, boosting soil health and lawn growth at key stages throughout the year so your turf stays vibrant, resilient, and healthy.
What's included and when?
Four treatments timed to your lawn's seasonal needs: Spring Liquid Aeration (March to April), Liquid Dethatch and Root Stimulant (May to June), Moisture Management (July to August), and Fall Liquid Aeration (September to October).
What does the Liquid Dethatch and Root Stimulant do?
Breaks down thatch buildup and boosts root growth using Sea Kelp, leading to deeper color, better drought protection, and stronger pest resistance.
What does Moisture Management do?
Uses Humic Acid to improve moisture retention and soil fertility, so your lawn holds water better and stays healthier through summer heat.
Does this replace my Fertilization and Weed Control plan?
No, it works alongside it. This package adds soil-focused treatments on top of your existing fertilization program.
Service FAQs

Turf Guard Pest Package

Everything you need to know about each of our services and how they work.
What is the Turf Guard Pest Package?
An all-inclusive, year-round treatment plan with 4 seasonal applications that eliminate and prevent the most common and damaging lawn pests, from fire ants to grubs to fleas and ticks.
What's included and when?
TopChoice Fire Ant Treatment (February to March), Grub Defense (May to June), and Total Turf Insect Control, applied twice (July and August) to protect against fleas, ticks, armyworms, chinch bugs, and more.
What does Grub Defense do?
Targets and eliminates grubs before they damage your lawn's roots. Grubs do the most damage in late July through September, so this treatment has to go down before the end of July to work. If grubs show up after treatment, we'll come back and treat again for free.
What does the Fire Ant Treatment do?
Provides season-long control against fire ants, spreading through the colony to eliminate ants and their nests. It takes 3 to 5 weeks to fully activate and needs to be watered in. If active mounds pop up within 12 months, we'll follow up at no extra cost.
How is this different from Quarterly Pest Control?
Turf Guard focuses specifically on lawn pests like fire ants, grubs, fleas, and ticks that damage your turf, while Quarterly Pest Control targets common household pests around your home's exterior and interior, like ants, spiders, and roaches. Many customers use both together for complete coverage.
