Henbit is running absolutely rampant right now!
Remember all the talk about the fall pre-emergent?? This is exactly why that application is so important.
Unfortunately, Henbit is just the tip of the iceberg. Henbit is easy to kill and even dies off on it’s own as the temperatures warm up.
What is NOT easy to kill are all the weeds that will be taking its place in the spring and summer months. Trust us, you DON’T want to deal with wave after wave of spring/summer weeds.
Pre-emergent is the only way to deal with this. You need a pre-emergent, and you need to put it down right now!
All of those nasty spring and summer weed seeds are sitting in your lawn right now WAITING to germinate...you have to kill them BEFORE that happens...
