Dust off the mower!

Mowing your bermuda late winter will help it come out of dormancy!

Although it doesn’t look like it on the surface, your lawn has already begun the process of coming out of dormancy.

That means its time to get out there and get your first mow of the season out of the way! All you will be doing is knocking a little bit of dead grass off the top of your lawn, and that will help your lawn come out of dormancy faster, thicker and healthier.

It doesn’t look like there is anymore freezing weather in the forecast, and it will not be long at all before your lawn is really trying to push that new growth out. You don’t necessarily have to start mowing every week just yet, but you do want to give your lawn a little help through this process.
