Anyone that has done their own Christmas lights knows the horror of opening the box and seeing the giant mess of tangled up lights. Nobody wants to spend what feels like an eternity untying knots upon knots of lights!
This happens as a results of storing them incorrectly the previous season. When removing mini lights, most people tend to wrap them like you would a water hose or extension cord…which ALWAYS ends in disaster.
The best thing to do is roll them up like a ball of yarn. Once rolled up they may look like a big tangled mess, but it’s by far the best way to avoid the tangled chaos.
If you’re dealing with the tangles disaster right now…just put this in the back of your mind for when you take down you lights. You will never have to deal with it again!
